Although the numerical control systems configured by various types of CNC milling machines are different, the functions of various CNC systems, except for some special functions, are basically the same.
1. Point control function
This function enables hole system machining that requires high mutual position accuracy.
2. Continuous contour control function
This function can realize the interpolation function of straight lines and arcs, and the machining of non-circular curves.
3. Tool radius compensation function
This function can be programmed according to the dimension of the part drawing, regardless of the actual radius size of the tool used, thus reducing the number of knitting
Complex numerical calculations of the time of the process.
4. Tool length compensation function
This function can automatically compensate for the length of the tool to adapt to the requirements of the tool length size adjustment during machining.
5. Proportion and mirror processing function
The scale function can be executed by changing the coordinate value of the programmed machining program according to the specified proportion. Mirror machining, also known as axisymmetric machining, if the shape of a part is symmetrical with respect to the coordinate axis, then only one or two quadrants can be programmed, and the contours of the rest of the quadrants can be achieved through mirror machining.
6. Rotation function
This function can be performed by rotating the programmed machining program at any angle in the machining plane.
7. Subroutine call function
Some parts need to repeatedly process the same contour shape in different positions, and the processing program of this contour shape is used as a sub-program, and the machining of the part can be completed by repeated calls in the required position.
8. Macro program function
This function can use a total instruction to represent a series of instructions to implement a certain function, and can perform calculations on variables, making the program more flexible and convenient.
